Special First Day for Serene Lake Elementary!

For the first time in several years, Serene Lake Elementary welcomed kindergarteners back to their neighborhood school! In recent years, space constraints meant Serene Lake's youngest learners began their school journeys at Pathfinder Kindergarten Center.

And kindergarteners weren’t the only ones with something new to celebrate. Students and staff returned to a new classroom building and pedestrian path, both funded by the 2020 bond.

In November, voters will consider a school construction bond proposal that includes replacing additional aging classroom buildings at Serene Lake Elementary and dozens of other projects at schools across the district. www.mukilteoschools.org/bond2026
