Read 4 Adventure Challenge
When your children visit the library this week, they will learn how to participate in the Read 4 Adventure Challenge.

High Trek Adventures have partnered with us to offer a voucher for those who complete 8 hours of reading AT HOME during the month of March. Please see the attached Reading Log for more information about High Trek Adventures and the vouchers they will be offering. Your student will also be bringing home a paper copy if they choose to participate.

The Read 4 Adventure program will run through the month of March. Have your student record their minutes on the Reading Log as they go. The goal is 480 minutes! Then beginning April 1st, you can submit your student’s minutes and voucher request online using the Student Submission Link on the Reading Log or with the provided QR code. Please do not submit before April 1st.

Please contact me with any questions. Happy Reading!

PTSA Update
Board Members Needed
As Fairmount students move on, so do their parents. The Fairmount PTSA has an urgent need for new members. There will not be a PTSA Board next year unless we train future board members and volunteers before our existing team steps down.

Vacant Positions:
  • President-in-training (shadow this year and transition into role next year)
  • Treasurer-in-training (shadow this year and transition into role next year)
  • Secretary-in-training (shadow this year and transition into role next year)
  • Financial Review Committee (three people to help twice a year with our audit)
Board nominations are due in April, and yes, you may nominate yourself! Unless we have new leadership, we will not have a PTSA next year. This means not funding classroom supply grants, field trips, assemblies, family events, no spirit wear, or staff appreciation events.

Please consider joining the PTSA board. If you have questions or would like more information about specific roles, please email Fairmountptsa15@gmail.com.
